Creating Shared Value means a company addresses social needs while developing new business opportunities. Creating Shared Value is an integral part of the business development at Nestlé which includes compliance and sustainable development, from nutrition, water management and agricultural community development in core business areas, to optimization of the common value of society and shareholders.

Working with Partners
Nestlé Hong Kong actively communicates with local NGOs and other partners and establishes partnerships with them, aiming to jointly promote corporate social responsibility, build an inclusive society, and care for the people in need in society.
Promoting Volunteer Services
While developing business and providing consumers with healthy and delicious products, Nestlé Hong Kong is also committed to giving back to society, actively encouraging employees to participate in volunteer activities in order to help those who are in need, such as under-privileged families, students in sheltered workshops, and the elderly. We also support Hong Kong’s large-scale events that bring care to the community. At the same time, Nestlé Hong Kong also promotes the spirit of charitable donation through product donations and sponsorship.
Nestlé Hong Kong has received recognition from the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) by awarding the Caring Company Scheme for many consecutive years, recognizing our contributions to society.
Nestlé Hong Kong is committed on corporate social responsibilities in sustainable development and environmental protection. Therefore, we are committed to incorporating environmental protection into our daily operations and creating shared value in our communities. For example, we donated computers and computer accessories to local NGOs to reduce waste and encourage recycling, while helping the disadvantaged to integrate into the information society.
